It absorbs a quantity of greenhouse gas five times larger and produces 35% more oxygen than an equivalent quantity of trees. Its deep roots block the ground erosion, thus making this an extremely important plant for the environment.

Bamboo fibre is thermal regulating; wicks moisture better than polyester; is absorbent, fast drying and more comfortable; and is exceptionally soft. It resists body odours and is an excellent choice for sensitive skins.
